Friends of Mayer (FOM) is a not-for-profit group of parent volunteers whose mission is to support Mayer via fundraising and community building initiatives in order to support the mission and day-to-day operations of Mayer Magnet School.
FOM depends on Mayer’s vibrant community to reach its mission. From attending the events, volunteering to help the day of, to joining a planning committee, there are many ways to help.

WOW, we passed our goal! Thank you for supporting our kids, teachers, and school. There's still a little time left to donate before collections close.
DONATE so that the top fundraising class can silly string AP Edwards. Be sure to ask friends, family, and neighbors too - we welcome everyone to have some fun! Collections close this weekend, with the winner to be announced next week.

Support the popular school-supplies fundraiser & buy before school ends in just a couple weeks. School Tool Box is a teacher-approved fundraiser with competitively-priced items sent straight to school for you!
Proceeds raised go back to Mayer & also help the charity Feed My Starving Children

Friends of Mayer wants (needs) you! FOM is a parent run volunteer organization, and we could use your help. We need volunteers at every level… You choose your commitment range from volunteering a few hours, to being part of strategic decisions, and plenty in between.
We are currently looking for volunteers to Come join our Board! Help plan something fun of your choice - Gala, Meet the Teachers, Fall Carnival, parents nights & more!

Annual Fund
The Pledge Drive, Mayer’s largest fundraising effort, begins each Fall. Parents, community members, and local businesses donate funds in support of our school’s amazing initiatives. Donations are accepted year-round.
Mayer Gala
Mayer's annual benefit is an incredible evening of food, fun, and fundraising where parents can enjoy themselves while supporting the school. Live auction and live music make for an evening not to be missed.
Walkathon
A decade-long Mayer tradition, this spring fundraising extravaganza is a meaningful way for students to get involved in raising money for the school.
