December Minutes Approved – Jacki Van Hout
Pledge Drive – Michelle Ramirez
94% of the goal of $350K was pledged.
58% of school participation, highest intermediate and IB participation ever.
Report out capturing highlights for the Pledge Drive and how funds will be used is should continue to be communicated.
Highlight should focus on participation percentage as that is a great success story.
Continue to capture positive things happening at Mayer.
Committee starting preliminary discussion for what the funds will be allocated.
Board Position Update – Julie Schulhof
Social Chair position is open. Nell Kolpin has been voted in as a replacement.
Pledge Drive position is open where a replacement.
Support for the Walk-a-Thon and Benefit is ideal.
Room parents or volunteer list should be used to reach out to parents.
Cookie Exchange – Sandy Baccam/Julie Schulhof
Over 125 families participated in the exchange.
Nothing Bundt Cakes were donated to support the teachers.
Transition to nut-free was a success.
Not having coffee was okay for future Cookie Exchanges.
Budget – Al Haber
Pledge Drive figured are from 12/31/2021 where additional donations are still occurring.
Increases occurring with Mayer Merchandise and Sponsorships (Revenue from Kendra Scott, Building Blocks).
Benefit – Stacey Kaplan
Event locations - Space needs to hold up to 300 ppl
Galleria Marchetti
Barcocina, only Saturday availability
Upscale sports bar as a more casual option
Fremont, has a retractable roof and is weather dependent
Benchmark
Brickhouse Tavern
Do any of the event locations offer corkage fees vs paying for alcohol ahead of time? Potential saving opportunities.
Dates - May 13th, May 20th (Fridays) or potentially a corresponding Saturday.
Support needed for the Auction.
FOM members to reach out to businesses/people for auction.
Social – Rowena Dumas
Potential ice-skating event being discussed for February
Gallagher Way ice skating as a community event
McFetridge Sports Center as an indoor event as a rented space. – Preferred option
Spring events - Parent event and kid event
Sponsorship/Fundraising – Nicki McNair
Barnes and Noble Book Fair (12/1)
Received a gift card to support new Library books
2022 targeting one restaurant sponsorship night/month.

Walk-a-Thon – Historical sponsorships to be reviewed by Jen, Millie and Nicki
Community Outreach – Sarah Polachek
